During her undergraduate career, Adina has been an active performer as a member of the Janiec Opera Company at Brevard Music Center for several seasons, singing in operas such as Street Scene (Mae Jones/Rose Maurrant Cover), Die Fledermaus (Ida), Roméo et Juliette (Juliette Cover), Le Nozze di Figaro, Susannah, and Don Pasquale. Through the Janiec Opera Company, she was a featured soloist on WXQR, New York’s Classical Music Radio Station. She also performed with Berlin Opera Academy, starring as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. She was both a singer and production team member with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar for three seasons, in operas such as Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna), Die Fledermaus (Adele), and Don Giovanni (Production Assistant/Choreographer). Adina thoroughly enjoyed her time with the University of Michigan Gilbert and Sullivan Society, where she sang the role of Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore and Aline in The Sorcerer. With the help of the amazing faculty and her wonderful studio professor Stanford Olsen, Adina has learned what it means to be a forward-thinking and multifaceted artist, and thanks to U-M for making her time here so memorable.
