Alexandra Kzeski hails from Chicago, IL and has just graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music in voice performance. She plans to continue her education at the Mannes School of Music under the tutelage of Diana Soviero. Most recently, Alexandra performed the role of Norina in the University of Michigan’s production of Don Pasquale. Also with the University of Michigan, she played Adele in Die Fledermaus, as well as partial roles including Nedda in Pagliacci, Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Musetta in La Bohème. With the Russian Opera Workshop, she was cast in the roles of Tatyana in Eugene Onegin and the title role in Francesca da Rimini. This summer, Alexandra will be making her role debut as Cecilio in Lucio Silla with Chicago Summer Opera. Other accolades include 1st place in the King’s Peak International Music Competition, 2nd in the Opera Grand Rapids Collegiate Vocal Competition, 1st in the Enkor Competition, and winning runner-up in the University of Michigan Friends of Opera Competition.
