Earl V. Moore Award - Musical Theatre

Caroline grew up right outside of Louisville, Kentucky and at an early age discovered she had a flair for the dramatics. A child who never stopped playing pretend, Caroline was introduced to children’s theatre by her parents. She’s been hooked ever since. What seemed like a pipe dream soon became reality when she was accepted into the musical theatre program at the University of Michigan. The musical theatre curriculum has shaped her as an artist, but the University itself and the family she has made along the way continue to challenge her and help her grow as a person. Although this year has been difficult in ways none of us could have predicted, where Caroline was always able to find peace, joy, and love was in her musical theatre community here at the University of Michigan, and she is forever grateful for the learning experiences and the family she has found along the way.
