Christopher Gaudreault is an ambitious young pianist and conductor known for his musicality and repertoire diversity in both disciplines. He studied under the tutelage of renowned conducting pedagogue Kenneth Kiesler. Prior to his studies in Michigan, Christopher completed a bachelor’s degree at the McGill Schulich School of Music, majoring in piano performance with minors choral conducting and theory. Christopher discovered his love for conducting at the helm of a community choir in his home town, St-Bruno-de-Montarville, Canada, but passion for the orchestral repertoire eventually led him away from choral conducting. Alongside his conducting studies, Christopher is also a sought-after choral accompanist, working with some of Canada’s top choral ensembles such as the Ottawa Choral Society, the National Youth Choir of Canada, and the McGill University Schulich Singers.
