Emily Erlich is graduating from the BTA program with a concentration in stage management. During her time at U-M, Emily has sought out various opportunities through practicums and an independent study, which have allowed her to study topics such as directing, dramaturgy, and LGBTQ+ theatre. She is thankful to have worked on multiple shows through SMTD’s U-Prod, including Yerma (SM), A New Brain (Interim SM), Sense and Sensibility (AD/Dramaturg), Murakami by the Sea (1st ASM), Me and My Girl (1st ASM), The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (1st ASM), and INSURRECTION: Holding History (ASM). She is also grateful for the student produced pieces she worked on, which challenged her in new and amusing ways that she never could have imagined. Emily would like to thank her friends and family for all of their help along the way!
