Sam grew up performing and training in Charlotte, North Carolina. At age 15, Sam got his equity card playing Billy in Billy Elliot at Ogunquit Playhouse, a role he went on to reprise at the North Carolina Theatre. During the fall of his senior year of high school, Sam made his television debut as I.Q. in NBC’s 2016 Broadcast of Hairspray Live! Sam has spent the last four years working towards a BFA in musical theatre. University of Michigan credits: Shel, Me and My Girl, Sweet Charity, The Exonerated, The Pirates of Penzance, Stranger Sings, and As You Like It. Sam also served as co-director for the MT21 Senior Entrance, and he will star in the upcoming short film, Just Like You. Endless gratitude to mom, dad, and Nate for their tireless love and support.
